everything is so fresh, so recent.
my body just birthed the most creative thing possible, yet I’m here
giving and searching for myself, my detailed and intensely passionate self that I daily put on hold so that I could bring out his.

so here I am, the house an utter chaos of toys and milk stains and few hours of sleep,
but its quiet and my marble tulip table is clean and I finally have my pen in my hand 
writing another edit for you: the next collection by the Brazilian fashion designer I most adore,

other worldly.
I’m taken from the surrounding sounds and living in five minutes of creative magic among giant boulders.
the models file down the stone hill, winding round the boulders in tones of soft rose.

it has my heart as I try to catch the details of each piece.
the collection is introduced in tones of rose, then bold stripes of navy and burgundy
followed by creams and golden yellows.

for me, its always the details and layering of many, many textures and patterns.
sheer skirts embroidered with enormous roses.
blouses with feather-like fabric and puffed sleeves.
oh, and an apron of ruffles.
delicate floral print sun dress layered in a lace skirt over the waist.
and linen blazers to match, or not.

Watching the creative process and connection happening between the team was life giving in a creative sense.
I always imagine what others are thinking and feeling, what happens inside when they create what was envisioned;
the moment when the idea just flows out like overwhelming magic and the dedication it takes to bring it to this side of life.
