here we are with Chanel Fall/Winter 2020-21, another collection that sends thrills through my heart every time I sit down to study each look and finish writing this cover.
there was a sense of fun mixed into the modern aesthetics of the show. it was lovely and laid-back with models walking in pairs and threes, smiling and talking to each other along the curving set.
it was refreshing.
i’m starting this cover towards the end of the runway with look 51, one that summarizes a theme throughout the collection: sheer tights embroidered with the Chanel logo, loose fitting jackets and cuffed sleeves, and the boots – the boots! – are just the accessory that complete many looks.

i’m loving the black and white photography from behind the scenes.
it creates almost a color inversion revealing the finest embroidered details.
these details of look #8 are lovely and mysterious.
the softness of her appearance and stance pair perfectly with this comfy sweater look. a skirt that stops before meeting in front reveals legs and matching shorts underneath. gorgeous.
